AI credits - what costs what, how much is left and what happens when they run out

Every business has a shared monthly credit quota. Images, videos, research and campaigns consume credits; text and chat do not. How to track your balance and plan.

19 Aug 2026

Credits are how Bambook measures usage of heavy AI actions. A quick understanding of what costs what will help you plan the month.

Where to see the balance

On the Settings page, in the "AI credits" card, you see "X / Y credits left this month" with a progress bar (green, orange from 80%, red at 100%). The card is shown to the business owner.

What consumes credits

Generating an image or graphic - 3 credits. A video - 37 credits per scene. Building a paid campaign (the copy) - 12 credits, with the images and reel created in it counted separately. A single ad action or regeneration - 1 credit. Marketing research - 18 credits.

What does not consume credits

Text, chat with the agents, scripts and planning - 0 credits. They are included in the plan.

When the quota resets

Automatically on the 1st of every month. The quota is shared by all members of the business - everyone draws from the same pool.

Note: When credits run out, credit-consuming actions (images, videos, research, campaigns) are blocked until the reset; text and chat actions keep working. Extra credits cannot be bought inside the system - quota increases are handled by Bambook, contact us.

Tip: A monthly content plan creates many graphics at once. If you are close to the end of the quota, start with a weekly plan.
